Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Car Flip Finder ("Car Flip Finder," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (together, the "Service"). Car Flip Finder is operated by Teach Your Kid to Read LLC, a Florida limited liability company located at 2615 Verde Lane, Winter Park, FL 32792. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. Your account email and display name; business details you choose to provide (such as dealer type, monthly volume, and location preferences); the contents of forms, surveys, and support messages; and your saved searches, filters, and alert settings.
Information collected automatically. Usage and activity data (pages and screens viewed, features used, deals you open or act on, taps and clicks), device and technical data (device type, operating system, app version, browser, IP address, and a device or session identifier), approximate or precise location if you grant permission (used to surface nearby deals), and email engagement (opens and clicks). We collect some of this through cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies.
Information from third parties. We receive vehicle and market data from data providers, and account and billing status from our payment processor. We may combine this with the information above.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, and secure the Service, and send the deal alerts you configured;
- develop, train, and improve our valuation models, algorithms, machine-learning systems, features, and new products and services, including by analyzing how the Service is used;
- create aggregated, de-identified, and statistical data and insights, which we may use and disclose for any purpose;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- send transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing and product communications;
- measure performance, conduct research and analytics, and personalize your experience;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues; and
- comply with law and enforce our agreements.
How we share information
We may share information as follows:
- Service providers. With vendors that process data on our behalf to run the Service, including Supabase (database, auth, and hosting), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google Analytics (website analytics), Apify (listing data collection), Marketcheck and NHTSA vPIC (vehicle and market data), and Expo / Apple Push Notification service / Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (mobile delivery and push notifications).
- Partners and affiliates. With our affiliates and with business and advertising partners, including to provide, market, and improve products and services.
- Aggregated or de-identified data. We may share or otherwise make available aggregated or de-identified data, which is not reasonably capable of identifying you, for any purpose.
- Business transfers. In connection with, or during negotiations for, any merger, sale of assets, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other transaction, your information may be transferred to and used by the counterparties and their advisors as a business asset.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or government request, or is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- With your direction. When you ask us to share information or otherwise consent.
Depending on the law that applies to you, some of the sharing described above may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can exercise the choices below.
SMS and mobile opt-in data
No mobile information, including phone numbers collected for text messaging, will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in and consent data is never shared with third parties. This does not restrict sharing with the messaging providers (such as Twilio) that we use solely to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Your privacy choices
Email. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Transactional messages (receipts, security notices, and the deal alerts you configured) are part of operating your account; you can change alert settings in the app at any time.
Location and notifications. You can control location and push-notification permissions in your device settings.
Do Not Sell or Share / Opt-Out. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or of targeted advertising, email matt@carflipfinder.app with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of its sale, sharing, or use for targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email matt@carflipfinder.app. We will verify your request and may ask for information to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies, local-storage keys, and similar technologies for sessions, authentication, analytics, and measurement, including Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; the marketing site works without them.
Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time in the app, or through our account deletion page. Aggregated and de-identified data, and information we are required or permitted to retain, may persist after deletion.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is a business tool intended for users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
